Dixie Carter Makes Ring Of Honor Debut

Dixie Carter, the former President of IMPACT Wrestling, has made her debut appearance for Ring Of Honor.

Appearing at the beginning of ROH’s Women’s Division Wednesday broadcast on YouTube, Carter offered words of support for the participants of the ROH Women’s Title Tournament.

Dixie’s full quote is as follows:

Hey there, it’s Dixie Carter, former President of Impact Wrestling. One of the greatest things about my time in wrestling was getting to spend it with the incredibly talented women that wrestled for us every week,” she said. “Nothing made me prouder than to see them shine in the main event, carry their own pay-per-view or be the highest-rated segment on television, which they often were. And today, women’s wrestling has never been better or stronger. So to all the ladies competing in the Ring of Honor Women’s Championship Tournament, I just wanted to say congratulations and good luck.

Though not a complete surprise given the spirit of cooperation seemingly sweeping the wrestling world (outside of WWE), Carter’s appearance on an ROH broadcast was certainly noteworthy given the reported issues between the two companies back when Carter was at the helm.

Carter last appeared for IMPACT in 2016 prior to the company’s sale to current owners, Anthem.

The ROH Women’s tournament features some exciting, and notable, talents including Chelsea Green, Allysin Kay and Angelina Love.
