Dixie Carter To Appear At IMPACT Slammiversary 2022

Dixie Carter

According to a new report Dixie Carter is set to appear at IMPACT Slammiversay 2022.

Dixie Carter, who served as President of TNA/IMPACT Wrestling from 2003 until 2016 is in line to appear at Slammiversary.

As reported by Marc Raimondi of ESPN, Carter will be appearing as part of the promotion’s 20th anniversary celebrations.

Should Carter feature on the show, it will be her first IMPACT Wrestling appearance since early 2016.

After initially agreeing to work alongside TNA in 2002 with a focus on marketing the promotion, Carter ended up buying a majority share in the company after another major financial backer pulled out of a deal.

As TNA President, Carter made occasional on-screen appearances before becoming a permanent fixture in 2009. From here the businesswoman became an on-screen authority figure, appearing regularly until January 2016. Shortly after, Carter sold her majority stake in the company to Anthem Sports & Entertainment, as it was re-branded IMPACT Wrestling. In 2017, Carter sold off her remaining minority share in the promotion.
