The Rock has shared some major news regarding the success of the Disney film Moana 2.
The follow-up to the 2016 hit animated movie, which saw the WWE legend reprise his role as Maui, was released over Thanksgiving weekend.
Given the success of the first movie, many expected the sequel to be a success at the box office. However, in an update by The Rock, the film has now made history with worldwide success.
Thanking the fans on his Instagram page, the Hollywood star revealed that Moana 2 has now surpassed more than $1 billion in the global box office:

With only a select few films breaking the $1 billion barrier, Moana 2 is not the 50th highest-grossing film of all time.
With the film still showing in some theatres worldwide, the number is set to climb even higher.
The Rock Gives Glowing Endorsement To NXT Star
The People’s Champion was last seen on TV at the NXT New Year’s Evil special on January 7th following his appearance on the Raw on Netflix debut the night before. Following the appearance, a top NXT star recalled a conversation with The Rock where The Final Boss said they could not wait to see them on the main roster.
In other news, some within the company are said to be unhappy with The Rock.
