Ric Flair has reaffirmed his loyalty to AEW and Tony Khan despite not appearing on AEW television for a year.
After signing a multi-year deal with AEW in November 2023, Flair made appearances leading up to Sting’s retirement at Revolution 2024. His Wooooo! Energy drink was also promoted as AEW’s official energy drink. However, when the sponsorship ended in July 2024, AEW stopped using Flair and promoting his brand.
Following John Cena’s Elimination Chamber 2025 win, Flair playfully stated that Cena would have to go through him to break the 16-time world champion record. This led Vince Russo to accuse Flair of trying to insert himself into Cena’s WWE storyline, suggesting it was time to “move on” from Flair.
Flair fired back on social media, declaring:
“I Work For My GREAT Friend And Employer @TonyKhan.”
While a January 2025 report suggested Flair might return to Dynamite, no appearance materialized, leaving his future in AEW uncertain.
WWE has ranked John Cena’s shocking heel turn at Elimination Chamber 2025 as the most villainous turn in wrestling history, surpassing Hulk Hogan’s infamous NWO betrayal.
Following Cena’s betrayal of Cody Rhodes to align with The Final Boss The Rock, WWE released a YouTube video listing the 30 Most Villainous Turns Of All Time. The list includes only WWE and WCW moments, with Cena’s turn taking the top spot ahead of Hogan forming the NWO and Seth Rollins betraying The Shield.
Other notable entries include Shawn Michaels throwing Marty Jannetty through the barber shop window, Dominik Mysterio turning on his father Rey, and Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston betraying Big E. The list also features betrayals involving Triple H, Batista, CM Punk, and Becky Lynch.
Surprisingly, some major turns were left out, such as The Rock aligning with Vince McMahon at Survivor Series 1998 and Steve Austin siding with McMahon at WrestleMania 17. The full list showcases decades of shocking betrayals, with Cena’s recent turn cementing its place in WWE history.

One scheduled match at AEW Revolution was scrapped while the show was on the air.
Chris Jericho was set to defend the ROH World Championship against Gravity on the Revolution Zero Hour pre-show.
However, before the match could begin, Jericho ambushed Gravity with a baseball bat. Bandido, Gravity’s brother, attempted to intervene but was also attacked as Jericho, with help from The Learning Tree, continued the assault. Jericho then unmasked Gravity and walked away with the mask, resulting in the match being canceled.
Despite this unexpected change, AEW Revolution delivered a packed event, including Jon Moxley retaining the AEW World Title against Adam Copeland and Toni Storm successfully defending the AEW Women’s World Championship against Mariah May.
Kamille’s status in AEW remains uncertain despite a major role in the newly released film Queen of the Ring. Debuting in AEW as Mercedes Moné’s bodyguard in July 2024, Kamille quickly established a presence in the company. However, after last appearing in November 2024, Kamille has been absent from AEW programming with no official explanation.
When recently asked about AEW status, Kamille refused to provide a clear answer, stating, “I cannot answer that question.” Reports indicate that Kamille remains under contract with AEW, but no creative plans have been made for a return to television. Despite speculation about a potential storyline involving former ally Mercedes Moné, no developments have materialized.
Queen of the Ring, which premiered on March 7, 2025, features Kamille in a key role as June Byers, a major figure in wrestling history. The film, centered on the life of wrestling pioneer Mildred Burke, also stars AEW talent such as Toni Storm. However, AEW has not promoted Kamille’s involvement in the film, nor has any mention been made on television.
With no appearances or mentions in AEW programming, Kamille’s future with the company remains in question.
Toni Storm and Mariah May delivered an unforgettable, brutal war at AEW Revolution 2025 in their highly anticipated Falls Count Anywhere match for the AEW Women’s Championship.
The match, the third and most violent in their ongoing rivalry, started in chaos as May ambushed Storm before she could even complete her entrance. What followed was a match filled with pure carnage, spreading across the entire arena and leaving fans stunned at the level of violence on display.
Chairs, tables, champagne bottles, shoe tips, tasers, and even glass shards were used as both women tore each other apart, pushing the boundaries of physical punishment. As the fight raged on, both competitors were left drenched in blood, their faces painted crimson as they gasped for breath.
The horrifying scene finally came to an end when Storm executed her finishing move through a table near the stage, securing the victory with a pinfall.
While Storm successfully retained her title, it came at a heavy cost—both physically and mentally.
The match has sparked a divide among fans, with some praising the intense storytelling and brutality, while others were left horrified by the sheer amount of bloodshed.
One thing is certain: Timeless Toni Storm may have won the battle, but both women left a piece of themselves in that ring.
WWE has officially announced that the 2025 Hall of Fame ceremony will take place on Friday, April 18th at Fontainebleau Las Vegas, the official host hotel of WrestleMania 41.
The event will be held at the venue’s state-of-the-art BleauLive Theater, a 90,000-square-foot, multi-level venue designed to host world-class events.
This marks a shift from the previous format, as the Hall of Fame ceremony will no longer take place in the same building as the SmackDown go-home show. WWE had reportedly been looking to revamp the ceremony’s presentation, and this move aligns with those plans.
The class of 2025 will be headlined by WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque, Michelle McCool, and Lex Luger, with additional inductees to be announced in the coming weeks.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 14th, via Ticketmaster, with an exclusive presale opportunity starting Wednesday, March 12th.
This year’s ceremony is expected to provide a more intimate and premium experience for the WWE Universe, leveraging the luxury setting of Fontainebleau to create an unforgettable night honouring the legends of professional wrestling.
Following AEW Revolution, it was confirmed that Big Boom AJ, Big Justice, and The Rizzler have officially signed with AEW.
AJ, who teamed with Orange Cassidy and Mark Briscoe to win during the Zero Hour pre-show, revealed at the post-show press conference that all three are now under contract.
AJ would comment:
“How much deeper does everybody want me to get? [Laughs] I thought I was deep. Yes, I am officially with AEW right now. Undefeated. I am under contract right now as is Big Justice and The Rizzler. So yeah, we are going to be here for a while. I know there are some names on the AEW roster that I might be gunning for. Some guys out there who don’t quite believe in what I believe in, the happiness, the positivity, the boom. So yeah, you never know how deep this thing is going to go.”
Momo Watanabe may have suffered an injury during her AEW Revolution 2025 match against Mercedes Mone for the TBS Championship.
Reports from PWInsider and Fightful Select confirm that Watanabe was carried to the back after the bout, with speculation pointing to an ankle injury from a late-match top rope spot.
Additionally, Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Radio noted that Watanabe left on crutches, while Mone sustained a bruised larynx but was reportedly “largely okay” backstage.
A celebrity appearance at AEW Revolution 2025 didn’t go as planned, as actress Damaris Lewis made a comment that raised eyebrows backstage.
While promoting Queen of the Ring, Lewis mentioned that wrestlers “know they’re gonna win before anybody else does,” breaking kayfabe in front of a live audience.
According to Fightful Select, there were “audible groans” backstage, as the moment disrupted the immersion AEW works to maintain.
