AEW Collison will be kicking off next Saturday and fans worldwide are now finding out how they can tune in.
Collison is AEW’s new weekly televised show and starts with the return of CM Punk.
Punk has not been seen in AEW since All Out last September where he retained the World Championship against Jon Moxley before being suspended following a backstage fight with The Elite.
Whilst fans will be packed inside Chicago’s United Center to cheer on their local hero, those outside North America have been asking to find out how they can watch the event.
UK fans can access all of AEW’s programming live and on demand via FiteTV which will now include Collision.
The FiteTV AEW Pass allows fans to watch Collision, Rampage, and Dynamite live, or with unlimited replays.
Whilst ITV have yet to confirm if Collision will be added to their weekly AEW coverage, fans can work through the recent AEW: All Access series on ITVx which follows Adam Cole’s fightback from injury, and the bad blood between Ruby Soho and Tay Conti.
CM Punk Ready For AEW Collision That Could Open Forbidden Door
CM Punk has not appeared in AEW since fighting backstage with The Elite after All Out last September.
Following the fight, Tony Khan suspended those involved and stripped The Elite of their Trio’s Tag Championship, and removed the AEW World Heavyweight Championship from CM Punk.
With Collision set to be AEW’s weekly Saturday night event, CM Punk has been brought back and will team up with FTR in Chicago to take on Samoa Joe, Jay White, and Juice Robinson.
Tony Khan has been discussing the return of Punk with Sports Illustrated, claiming that his former Champion has been missing due to injury.
“We haven’t seen CM Punk in a long time, since All Out last September,”
“He looked great in his last match. To the fans, he’s very important. He’s very important to the company, too.
He’s been a big draw for us and historically throughout his career, and the launch of the new show happens to line up with the schedule on his rehab of his triceps injury.
“We have an amazing opportunity with AEW on Saturday nights on TNT, starting June 17, and it was truly the brainchild of [Warner Bros. Discovery CEO and president] David Zaslav.
He asked about more AEW, specifically Saturday nights, on TNT. When it was pitched to us by TNT, I was so excited. It’s so exciting the timing [of Punk’s return from injury] coincides with the launch of Collision.”
Khan has not ruled out CM Punk taking part in the upcoming Forbidden Door PPV which takes place Sunday June 25th and will include Will Ospreay challenging Kenny Omega for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship.
