According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there were big plans for Kylie Rae before she took the decision to step away from the ring.
In the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer noted that the bubbly star was headed to AAA – with the blessing of IMPACT Wrestling – to portray a Marvel character.
Though the role she was penciled in for is unknown, he did mention that such roles are booked to be a high profile mainstream position that would have shifted a lot of merchandise both in Mexico and the United States.

However, the role of a Marvel superhero inside the ring wasn’t the only plan. As per Meltzer, IMPACT Wrestling were about to put the Knockouts Championship on the popular superstar at Bound For Glory earlier this year before she failed to appear for the show.
She was later replaced by Su Yung who ended up defeating Deonna Purrazzo for the strap.
Days after IMPACT Wrestling: Bound For Glory, Rae shocked the world when she announced her retirement out of nowhere, stating:
“Good morning, I’m truly sorry for the pain I’ve caused and miscommunication, I am currently unwell. I’m also sorry that I wasn’t able to get this out before your monthly subscription charge. I wanted to take this time to say I am no longer a professional wrestler and am currently taking a break from social media. It’s been a very hard decision to make but please understand.
