New information has come to light about the details surrounding Jeff Hardy’s arrest, including when his court date has been set.

Jeff Hardy was arrested on June 13th after allegedly driving under the influence. According to Volusia County jail records, Hardy was charged with Driving While License Canceled/Suspended/Revoked, Violation of Restrictions Placed on Drivers License, and DUI Alcohol/Drugs Third Offense within 10 Years.

It was later reported that Hardy had nearly four times the legal limit of alcohol in his blood at the time of his arrest.

Marc Raimondi, via Hardy’s Florida Highway Patrol arrest report, noted that Hardy’s car was “swerving” and “running off” the road. Upon being pulled over, Hardy was said to be “in a stupor and confused.” After getting out of the car, Hardy was unsteady and smelled of alcohol. Officers confirmed after a conversation that he had been drinking. The report states that he couldn’t complete any portion of the sobriety exercises successfully, or “without risk of falling.”

Now, a new report from Fightful Select provides further details on the situation. According to the report, after the signing and concert that Matt and Jeff Hardy attended on Sunday, Matt made sure that his brother got to his hotel room safely. Matt then flew home with his family while Jeff remained in Florida, and Matt last had contact with his brother on Sunday night.

The report goes on to note that Jeff claimed he had an upcoming doctor’s appointment for his “head,” indicating that he was to undergo brain scans, but Fightful was not able to get further information on that.

It was also clarified in the Fightful Select report that, contrary to reports that the arrest happened in the early hours of the morning, it actually took place at 9:54am and Hardy was taken into custody at 12:45pm local time.

Fightful Select also notes that, despite his license privileges being reportedly suspended, Jeff Hardy was still in possession of a physical driver’s license that he’s been using to rent vehicles in both WWE and AEW.

A further report from PWInsider revealed that Jeff Hardy’s court date has been set for July 5th at 2:30pm. He was originally set to appear before a judge on June 14th, but that appearance was cancelled.

Footage of the arrest emerged online and can be seen here. AEW has suspended Jeff Hardy without pay following the arrest and has offered to help him receive treatment.
