At AAA Triplemania, Deonna Purrazzo became a double champion when she won the Reina de Reinas Championship.
The IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion took on Faby Apache in a winner-take-all, champion vs champion match at the 19th spectacular in Mexico City, Mexico.
Apache was a four-time champion after winning the title in a six-way match that featured controversial figure Sexy Star and Maravilla, Chik Tormenta, Flammer and Lady Tormenta way back in May. However in her first title defence in over two months the Virtuoso dethroned Apache to win the championship for the first time in her career.

Deonna Purrazzo is one of the most dominant champions in IMPACT Wrestling’s history. Ever since joining IMPACT last year, the Virtuosa has established herself as one of the top female talents in the entire industry. She has defeated everyone who has stood in her way from Jordynne Grace, Su Yung and the legendary Jazz.
Purrazzo will defend the knockouts championship against Melina. The match takes place at NWA’s historic first-ever all-women’s pay-per-view EmPowerrr. The first-time-ever event happens on August 27th at Chase Park Plaza in St Louis.
The monumental event will host several first-time-ever matches such as Kamille vs Leyla Hirsch for the NWA World Women’s Championship and the inaugural NWA Women’s Invitational Tournament.
