IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion, Deonna Purrazzo, will defend her championship against Kylie Rae at Bound For Glory on October 24.

The match was announced on the latest edition of IMPACT Wrestling and came about after the effervescent challenge defeated Alisha Edwards, Havok, John E. Bravo, Katie Forbes, Kiera Hogan, Kimber Lee, Madison Rayne, Nevaeh, Rosemary, Susie, Tasha Steelz and Taya Valkyrie in a Gauntlet Match at Slammiversary on July 18.

Ever since her victory, Kylie Rae has been on a winning streak, defeating Rosemary, Taya Valkyrie and teaming with Susie to defeat Deonna Purrazzo and Kimber Lee on the September 15 edition of IMPACT.

Rae, who currently holds the Warrior Wrestling Women’s Championship, had to wait for her opportunitiy at Purrazzo thanks to her participation at Wrestle House – a reality show set in an alternate universe on the company’s weekly episodes.

This will be Rae’s first shot at the gold since signing in March.

Current Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo hasn’t been resting on her laurels either. The star who became champion one month after making her debut by defeating Jordynne Grace, recently defended her gold against Susie at IMPACT Wrestling Victory Road on October 3.

When the pair meet at Bound For Glory, it will a test of endurance and attrition as they attempt to survive each other’s submission arsenal and become the only woman in the company to be undefeated in singles competition.
