Dennis Rodman To Make AEW Debut On Collision Episode In Chicago

Dennis Rodman

Former Chicago Bulls star and nWo member Dennis Rodman will be making his debut on the September 2nd episode of AEW Collision.

The news was announced on social media by AEW, who confirmed the upcoming Chicago appearance of the legendary basketball player:

What will happen when the unpredictable @NBA Hall Of Famer #theWorm@dennisrodman returns to the @UnitedCenter TOMORROW when Saturday Night #AEWCollision is LIVE from Chicago?!? Don’t miss Saturday Night Collision LIVE! 8pm ET/7pm CT on @tntdrama

Wrestling fans are familiar with The Worm’s work during his time with WCW. Debuting for the promotion in 1997, Rodman joined the nWo and team with Hulk Hogan to face Lex Luger and The Giant on an episode of Nitro, where Rodman and Hogan would lose the match via disqualification. The rematch would take place at Bash at the Beach, with Luger and The Giant winning the match when Lugar tapped out Hogan. One year later, Hogan and Rodman would be victorious, defeating DDP and Karl Malone.

The 5-time NBA Champion’s final match for WCW would take place at Road Wild 1999, where Rodman would lose to Randy Savage.
