Dejected John Cena Makes Heartfelt Appeal To WWE After SummerSlam

John Cena after SummerSlam

A dejected John Cena made a final appeal to WWE after SummerSlam.

John Cena turned babyface on SmackDown before SummerSlam and stated that he missed all that he had left when he turned heel. The star came out to his familiar titantron and even had a great reception from fans. Cena would, unfortunately, go on to lose his world title, but more importantly, he regained the trust of fans and shared a very emotional moment with Cody Rhodes.

However, the night did not end there for the 17-time world champion as he was soon set to witness the return of Brock Lesnar. The Beast returned to WWE after two years and set the stage for his next feud by delivering an F5 to Cena. Following this, after SummerSlam went off the air, John Cena was seen making an appeal to WWE.

John Cena Asked WWE Not To Play His Music After SummerSlam

After SummerSlam went off the air, Cena was seen exiting the arena when his music started playing. He appealed to WWE to stop the music as he wanted to hear the crowd one last time. The star saw directly into the camera and asked the promotion to cut out his music.

John Cena then said that he wanted to revel in the crowd chants as he was dejected and lost.

Cena was obviously hurt after the Street Fight against Rhodes that saw both men brutalize each other. However, after Lesnar returned to add salt to his injuries, John Cena was just a wreck.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Cena and how he will react to Lesnar’s attack.
