DDT Bullet Train Match Featuring Minoru Suzuki Makes Mainstream News Worldwide

DDT Wrestling featured NJPW legend Minoru Suzuki going up against Sanshiro Takagi to deliver a wrestling match like no other.

Taking place on a Japanese Bullet Train travelling from Tokyo to Nagoya, the match caught the attention of fans and media alike. Even ABC News couldn’t resist covering the unique event, sharing video footage on X.

The match, witnessed by 75 passengers in a rented-out train car, showcased Suzuki’s victory over Takagi, culminating in his Gotch Style Piledriver. ABC’s tweet quickly gained traction, amassing over 1,900 retweets and over 3,800 likes.

However, the absence of wrestling legend Kenta Kobashi in ABC’s coverage was notable. Kobashi made a surprise appearance during the match, confronting Suzuki and delivering his signature Burning Chops. Kobashi later shared photos from the train, including one featuring Jun Akiyama, who was also present for this extraordinary wrestling spectacle.
