WWE Hall Of Famer DDP has criticised former Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey’s previous comments where she referred to pro wrestling as “fake.”
Ronda Rousey entered the sports entertainment arena when she made her debut for WWE at the 2018 Royal Rumble. Before her wrestling career Rousey won an Olympic bronze medal for judo before she redefined the world of MMA and conquered UFC.
Before her – as of now – final appearance for WWE at WrestleMania 35 in 2019, Ronda Rousey commented on the wrestling business, calling it “fake” as she tore strips off the industry.
Now in an appearance on The Bro Show, former WCW World Champion DDP commented on Rousey’s remarks amid rumours that The Most Dangerous Unarmed Woman In The World could be on the verge of her WWE return:
“For starters, Ronda has talked a lot of sh*t about wrestling. You remember? That wasn’t cool, Ronda. That was not cool. Brock (Lesnar), who was the baddest man on the planet at one point, he never talked smack about what we do, cause what we do is harder than what they do, (harder) physically on the body.”
“From Dan Severn on down, UFC Hall of Famer – respect. Josh Barnett – respect. You got to have some respect there for what we do if you’re going to come back and forth and make the money. That’s the way I just personally feel.”
