Dax Harwood Reveals AEW All In Dream Match

AEW Stars FTR Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler with AAA Tag Titles

Dax Harwood has already got his eyes on a potential dream match for AEW All In at Wembley Stadium.

On April 5th, AEW President Tony Khan announced that the promotion will be holding its first show in the United Kingdom in the Summer.

The huge show titled All In will take place on Sunday, August 27th at Wembley Stadium. It will be the first professional wrestling event to take place at the famous venue since WWE SummerSlam in 1992.

The announcement has got fans dreaming of all kinds of dream matches, wondering what will top the card on what will be one of the biggest events in the promotion’s history.

Speaking to Uproxx, Dax Harwood got in on the action and said that in an ideal world, FTR would team with CM Punk to take on The Elite.

“CM Punk and FTR versus the Elite. That’s gotta be it, right? If you want to sell 50,000 tickets and take this company to the next level, that’s it, that’s me dreaming. That’s the dream match. That six-man tag in Wembley Stadium could help launch AEW to the next level.”

Cash Wheeler continued by emphasising just how big All In will be for AEW.

“Wembley Stadium is huge for AEW. AEW has to be ambitious right now. We’ve done so much as a company over the past three years that everybody said we couldn’t do. When Tony said we’re going to sell 20,000 (tickets at Arthur Ashe Stadium), that seemed ridiculous to people at the time. Everybody wants to keep moving the goalposts. Everybody wants to keep saying you can’t do this.

I love that we’re going to Wembley because even if it’s not completely to the brim full, 50-, 60-, 70,000, whatever it ends up being, that’s huge for this company. As a company that’s only a couple years into its existence. You can’t play it safe all the time. The roster right now is so deep, why not go for it?”

CM Punk Commented On Dax Harwood And Cash Wheeler’s Recent Win

Also on April 5th, FTR defeated The Gunns to win the AEW World Tag Team Titles. CM Punk, a friend of their pair took to social media to send his own congratulations.

CM Punk hasn’t appeared in AEW since the now-infamous brawl following All Out back in September 2022. There is no word on if or when Punk will return to the company.
