Dax Harwood has jokingly quit the wrestling business after FTR were overlooked for a Tag Team Title opportunity on AEW Dynamite.
On the most recent episode of AEW’s flagship show, the Varsity Blonds were the latest team to challenge for team team gold. This had prompted Dax Harwood to tweet that every team in AEW has had a shot at The Young Bucks except FTR. The message ended with Harwood saying that he would quit the business if Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston got a shot before FTR did.
After Moxley and Kingston defeated The Acclaimed earlier in the night, they extended their winning tag team record to five wins without defeat. The pair have also been feuding with The Elite in recent months which led to a huge confrontation at the end of Dynamite. With The Young Bucks retaining their titles, Moxley and Kingston stormed the ring and laid out the champions.
It was then revealed by Tony Schiavone that Moxley and Kingston would face The Young Bucks at Double or Nothing. After the announcement Harwood returned to Twitter and ‘quit.’
FTR haven’t challenged for the AEW Tag Team Titles since losing the belts to The Young Bucks at Full Gear last November.

Prior to Moxley and Kingston’s clash with The Acclaimed, Max Caster took a shot at the former AEW World Champion, rapping “Call your girl, she’s all in my mentions, trying to hit me up for some Oral Sessions…”
The jab and surprise name drop for her podcast, saw Moxley’s wife Renee Paquette take to Twitter to deliver a dig of her won. Paquette suggested that Caster should focus on picking up some wins while thanking him for the plug.
