Dax Harwood has become known in some wrestling circles for being one of the most outspoken wrestlers in the AEW locker room. He hasn’t been shy about discussing sensitive or controversial topics, especially those that relate to or in some ways involve his co-workers in AEW and in the wrestling business in general.
Harwood’s passion about the business and his willingness to discuss anything and everything led to him starting the FTR Podcast. However, said podcast only lasted a few months before being discontinued.
But according to a recent tweet, Dax Harwood himself isn’t being too quiet about the show’s termination.
Dax Harwood fires shots at Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez over end of FTR Podcast
Earlier today, Dax Harwood attended a For The Love of Wrestling show in the United Kingdom. During the show, Harwood brought up his podcast and how it ended, and then threw in a passing remark at both Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez, which has since been uploaded to Twitter.
“I hate that we had to quit [the podcast] but it was causing too many problems. But Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer suck.”

This isn’t the first time Dax Harwood has gone after wrestling journalists before. One segment on a previous episode of his podcast went after said journalists directly, with Harwood noting that journalists go with stories that they are told and then add their own agendas to the mix as well.
Harwood also zeroed in on Meltzer and Alvarez in particular because those two allegedly went with a story about how someone within the AEW locker room was “p*ssed off” about Harwood’s podcast and Harwood knew both who told them that and why.
He also insisted that his “complaining” comes from “a place of passion” because he wants FTR to be the best they possibly can be.
