Yes, you read that correctly. Arguably the hottest tag team in the entire world of professional wrestling today will square off against each other on the April 27th edition of AEW Dynamite.
The unlikely bout was announced as a qualifying match for the Owen Hart Foundation tournament.
Writing on social media following the announcement, Dax Harwood wrote that the match will be the first and only time that FTR compete against each other in the ring.

FTR currently stand as both the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Champions and the AAA World Tag Team Champions. Meanwhile, back in AEW, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler recently defeated the Young Bucks to further cement their claim as arguably the premiere tag team on the planet.
Off the back of this success, it was recently reported that WWE are interested in re-signing the duo.
Dax Harwood signed with WWE in 2012 where he was joined by Cash Wheeler two years later. Alongside Wheeler, the pair known as The Revival, became the company’s first ever ‘Triple Crown’ Tag Team Champions, winning the NXT, Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Championships.
The pair were released by WWE in April 2020, debuting in AEW the following month.
Meanwhile it has also been announced that Sammy Guevara will defend his newly won TNT Championship on April 27th in a Ladder Match.
The other big news coming out of Dynamite is the confirmation that AEW and New Japan Pro Wrestling will host a joint pay-per-view on June 26th in Chicago, called Forbidden Door.
