Dave Meltzer has revealed his match ratings for night two of WrestleMania 39.

Night two was headlined by the highly anticipated clash between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. With the Undisputed WWE Universal Title on the line and history beckoning, Rhodes was tipped by many to claim the win. However, when all was said and done it was Reigns who claimed victory with help from the entire Bloodline.

Earlier in the show, Brock Lesnar saw off Omos in the ‘battle of the giants’ before the crowd was treated to one of the most hard-hitting WrestleMania matches in years. The Triple-Threat-Match between Gunther, Sheamus, and Drew McIntyre, was pure unadulterated carnage from the opening bell. All three men held nothing back, and the packed house at SoFi Stadium was on its feet throughout. In the end, it was Gunther who somehow retained his title.

The show also featured the bizarre return of Shane McMahon. After entering to a huge ovation and getting into a match with The Miz, he promptly got injured. This led Snoop Dogg to take his place and deliver a People’s Elbow to Miz to score the pin.

Meanwhile, there were wins for Raqel Rodriguez & Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair, and Edge. The Rated R Superstar overcame Finn Balor inside Hell In A Cell. The match was briefly stopped due to Balor needing 14 staples in a head wound at ringside.

Writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer gave his rundown of the show. The top-rated bout was the Intercontinental Title match which was awarded five stars.
