Dave Meltzer has reviewed WWE NXT Vengeance Day.
As published in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer has given his thoughts and star ratings for the first NXT Premium Live Event to take place in 2025.
Only one title change took place on the show as Stephanie Vaquer defeated Fallon Henley in the opening match to become the new NXT Women’s North American Champion, securing her first championship in WWE in the process.
The other title matches saw Nathan Frazer and Axiom defend their NXT Tag Team Championships against Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura, Oba Femi defend his NXT Championship against Grayson Waller and Austin Theory, and Giulia defend her NXT Women’s Championship against Bayley, Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade in the main event. Vaquer joined Giulia in the ring after the match but the celebrations were cut short by a returning Jordynne Grace.
The non-title matches saw Eddy Thorpe defeat Trick Williams in a strap match and Ethan Page defeat Je’Von Evans,
