Dave Meltzer has reviewed and rated WWE Clash at the Castle 2024.

As published in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer has given his thoughts and ratings for the matches that took place at the Premium Live Event in Glasgow, Scotland on June 15th.

The show saw Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes open the show in an I Quit Match with AJ Styles for the title which Rhodes successfully defended. To close the show Drew McIntyre was unsuccessful in his attempt to capture the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from Damian Priest in his home country thanks to interference from CM Punk.

  • Sami Zayn defeated Chad Gable to retain the Intercontinental Championship – ****1/2
  • Bayley defeated Piper Niven to retain the Women’s Championship – ***1/2
  • Damian Priest defeated Drew McIntyre to retain the World Heavyweight Championship – ***3/4
