Dave Meltzer has reviewed and rated WWE Bad Blood.
As published in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer has given his thoughts and star ratings to the Premium Live Event that took place in Atlanta, Georgia.
The biggest talking point from the show happened shortly after the main event when The Rock made his return to TV after Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns defeated Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.
Multiple returns also took place on the show. During the Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley match, Raquel Gonzalez returned and attacked Ripley, allowing Morgan to retain the Women’s World Championship via disqualification. Additionally, Jimmy Uso returned from injury to prevent Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa from interfering in the main event. Uso was attacked on the SmackDown after WrestleMania when Tama Tonga made his debut.
The opening match saw the rivalry between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre come to an end inside Hell in a Cell. The bloody and violent match ultimately ended with Punk emerging the victor and barely walking out of the structure.
