Dave Meltzer Star Ratings: AEW Worlds End 2023

Dave Meltzer has given his thoughts on the final AEW pay-per-view of 2023.

As reported in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer has reviewed, critiqued and rated Worlds End. The main event of the show saw Samoa Joe bring MJF’s year-plus reign as World Champion to an end in MJF’s hometown of Long Island.

When all was said and done at Worlds End, Samoa Joe was the only new champion to walk out of The Nassau Coliseum. Earlier in the night, Adam Copeland defeated Christian Cage to become the new TNT Champion. However, with Killswitch earning a future opportunity at the title on the pre-show, Cage was gifted an automatic rematch and regained the TNT championship once again.

The show also saw the culmination of the Continental Classic, with Eddie Kingston defeating Jon Moxley in the final match of the round-robin tournament.
