Dave Bautista has another major film project in the works.

After taking the world of WWE by storm as Batista and becoming a multi-time World Champion, Dave Bautista turned his attention to the world of acting, impressing fans with roles in films like Guardians of the Galaxy, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, and Knock at the Cabin. Bautista also stars alongside fellow former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre in the recently-released The Killer’s Game.

Now, Deadline reports that the former Batista is involved in another major project, this time helmed by producer and co-star Cate Blanchett. Alpha Gang also stars Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keough, Steven Yeun, and Channing Tatum, and is to be directed by the Zellner brothers. A description of the movie reads:

Alpha Gang centers on a group of alien invaders sent to conquer Earth. Disguised in human form as a 1950s leather-clad biker gang, dubbed the Alpha Gang. They are ruthless in their mission, until they succumb to the most toxic and contagious human condition of all: emotions. The movie follows the Zellner brothers’ Sundance hit Sasquatch Sunset.

The film is set to begin filming in spring of 2025.

Dave Bautista Praised CM Punk’s Acting Skills

During a recent interview with BuzzFeed Celeb, Bautista was asked which WWE star he believes could follow in his Hollywood success. He indicated that if CM Punk decided to shift focus away from professional wrestling, he could do well in the acting world.

“You know who I think I really overlooked as an actor? I don’t know if he hasn’t pursued it as much as he’d like to because he’s still heavily pursuing professional wrestling, but it is CM Punk, Phil Brooks. His potential in acting is pretty unlimited. I really want to see more from him in acting. I’d actually love to work with him because I think he has a passion for acting, but I think still his heart is in professional wrestling, and until he’s able to let that go a little bit, he’ll never be able to fully envelop himself in acting, but I think Phil Brooks is a great actor.” (h/t Fightful)
