Date Confirmed For The Undertaker’s Next 1 deadMAN Show

The Undertaker speaks during 1 deadMAN Show

Beginning in the summer of 2022, The Undertaker’s 1 deadMAN Show has provided fans with a glimpse of the man behind the character, that being Mark Calaway. The shows typically see ‘The Phenom’ sharing never-before-heard stories from his iconic career and taking questions from members of the audience.

This will continue over Royal Rumble weekend. WWE has confirmed that The Undertaker will again take to the stage on Friday, January 27 from the Tech Sport Center + Arena in San Antonio, Texas. The following night, thirty men and thirty women will fight it out in a bid to earn a WrestleMania championship bout.

Tickets for the show are due to go on sale on November 15 from techportcenter.com. There will also be a limited amount of VIP tickets available, which provide fans with the opportunity to meet The Undertaker and receive premier seating.

WWE’s Plans For The Undertaker Post-Retirement

The Undertaker wrestled his last match in 2020, defeating AJ Styles in their critically-acclaimed Boneyard match on night one of WrestleMania 36. ‘Taker subsequently declared his formal retirement with a special sendoff ceremony during that year’s Survivor Series, finishing up his career, officially, at the event that started it all for him.

This has allowed WWE to explore new opportunities with the 2022-inducted WWE Hall of Famer, hence the creation of the 1 deadMAN Show concept. These shows have proven successful thus far, having been held before events including SummerSlam in Nashville, Tennessee and Clash at the Castle in Cardiff, Wales.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported following his pre-Clash at the Castle show that WWE was planning several ways of maintaining The Undertaker’s presence in the company, even after retiring. WrestleVotes had also mentioned that ‘Taker had agreed to host a WWE Network podcast, akin to ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions. Whether or not this makes it to air remains to be seen.
