WWE have confirmed that Daniel Bryan will appear in the ThunderDome for the first time when he returns to WWE this Friday on SmackDown.
In an article on WWE.com, the following statement was posted:
“Will Daniel Bryan be back on the blue brand this week?
“Yes! Yes! Yes!
“The Grand Slam Champion will make his WWE ThunderDome debut on the SmackDown season premiere Friday night. What will Bryan have to say in his return to the bright lights on FOX?”
Daniel Bryan recently became a father for the second time, with wife Brie Bella and sister-in-law Nikki Bella giving birth in the same week.
As well as Daniel Bryan’s WWE return, this week’s SmackDown will see SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Street Profits defend their gold against Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler. Meanwhile, The New Day will team up one last time before RAW Tag Team Champions Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods depart for the red brand as they take on Sheamus, Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura. Lars Sullivan will take on Jeff Hardy, while the WWE Universal Championship will be on the line as Roman Reigns takes on Braun Strowman.
WWE SmackDown airs live at 1am for fans in the UK and Ireland via BT Sport 1 HD.
