Daniel Bryan Hall Of Fame Message Reportedly An Error

Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan is reportedly not set to enter the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2021 despite a message appearing on the WWE Network that said differently.

Eagle-eyed viewers of the WWE Network noticed a message under a Daniel Bryan-themed collection of videos that read “WWE 2021 Hall Of Fame Inductee.”

New reports in the wrestling media have now said that this was simply an error and there are no plans for Bryan to be inducted into the Hall Of Fame this year.

The story took the wrestling world by surprise as Bryan is still an active WWE Superstar. Bryan recently headlined the Fastlane pay-per-view where he was defeated by Roman Reigns. Given what happened at the end of that match, there are also reports suggesting Bryan will be a part of the proposed Edge vs. Roman Reigns match at WrestleMania.

Daniel Bryan’s wife Brie Bella will be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame this year. Brie and sister Nikki are part of the Class of 2020 which was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony is slated to air on Tuesday, 6th of April. Forming part of a week-long festival of events in the lead-up to WrestleMania. Available to stream on Peacock in the US or the WWE Network overseas. The WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony precedes the two-night NXT TaveOver: Stand And Deliver.

So far, there are two inductees for the 2021 Class of the WWE Hall Of Fame. Molly Holly was the first inductee announced on WWE’s The Bump. Eric Bischoff has also been announced for the WWE Hall of Fame. The former WCW President was told while appearing on Corey Graves’ After The Bell podcast.
