On Halloween night, Ring of Honor made a massive announcement stating that they had officially signed independent sensation, Danhausen.

Though the edict was made via social media by both parties, the face painted warrior appeared in a specially shot video entitled, ‘Hired-Hausen’, to stake his claim on the promotion and state his intent. During the video, the star had this to say:

“It would appear that Ring of Honor has finally hired Danhausen. Now it’s time for them to rue the day! Anyway, love that Danhausen. See ya soon, Ring of Honor.”

This isn’t the first time the Halloween-esc grappler has appeared for the company, however. He made his official debut for the promotion on the December 6, 2019, weekly show challenging Shane Taylor for the ROH World Television Championship.

Even though he was unsuccessful, Danhausen made enough of an impression to be recalled for three further appearances.

He fell to Dak Draper at ROH Reigns Supreme on January 12, 2020; Rhett Titus on the January 31, 2020, ROH Wrestling weekly television show and competed in a 20-Man Battle Royal for a shot at the ROH World Championship at ROH Free Enterprise on February 9.

In a recent interview with Wrestling Inc. the star noted that he was due to carry on his partnership with the promotion prior to his full-time signing, but was removed from their tapings due to COVID-19 concerns.

Since returning to the ring following the enforced break in March, Danhausen has teamed with Ethan Page to challenge The Besties in the World for the Black Label Pro Tag Team Championships, battled former WWE star Moredcai for Absolute Intense Wrestling and formed the popular duo, Warhausen with the immensely popular Warhorse.

Inside the Ropes congratulates Danhausen on his achievement.
