Danhausen Hilariously Reaches Out To The Rock For Advice

Danhausen & The Rock

Danhausen is preparing to team with Hook for the biggest matches of his career, and in a bid to gain an advantage, he’s turned to none other than The Rock!

Hook-Hausen, the alliance between Hook and Danhausen is the wrestling partnership that fans never realised they needed until it became a glorious possibility.

From the moment that Hook and Danhausen first met, they were either going to tear each other apart or go on to form one of the most unlikely teams in AEW history. To the delight of the Long Island crowd on the May 11th edition of Dynamite, the two stars chose the latter.

Danhausen had spent weeks attempting to curse the Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil, but the second generation star appeared impervious to his advances. As a result, the former Ring of Honor star changed tact and attempted to create a very nice, but very evil tag team.

However, on the May 6th episode of Rampage, Hook again walked out on the face-painted star, after he asked the rookie to be in his corner for his in-ring AEW debut. Fast forward to Dynamite, and Danhausen was scheduled to meet Tony Nese, and as anticipated, Hook wasn’t at ringside.

The match itself was over in a matter of seconds, as Nese caught Danhasusen by surprise, with a running knee. He then proceeded to deliver the knee twice more at the behest of Mark Sterling. At this, Hook came down to the ring a man on a mission, with Nese and Sterling beating a hasty retreat.

With their shared rivals out of the way, Hook and Danhausen shook hands in the middle of the ring to an incredible ovation.

This led to a match being confirmed for the Double or Nothing Buy In, where Hook and Danhausen will team up to take on Nese and Mark Sterling.

With the match now just days away, Danhausen has hilariously reached out to WWE legend and Hollywood’s resident muscle-bound megastar, The Rock for help. In the post on Twitter, AEW’s most unorthodox star asks for advice on how to become “as very muscled, very evil” like The Rock in less than a week.

AEW Double or Nothing is set to take place on May 29th in Las Vegas. The packed card is headlined by the AEW World Championship bout between Hangman Adam Page and CM Punk.
