Dana White Open To WWE Star Fighting In UFC

Dana White UFC

Dana White has seemingly hinted that a big-name WWE Superstar could be stepping into the octagon when their wrestling career is over.

Even before Logan Paul signed with WWE he had been open about his desire to work with Dana White and UFC. This recently resulted in a deal between the star, business partner KSI and White to make Prime, the sports energy drink of UFC.

The multi-year new “marketing partnership” will debut at UFC 284 on February 12th in Perth, Australia.

It now appears that this might not be the last time that Paul and Dana White work together. During an appearance on Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, UFC announcer Bruce Buffer revealed that White has “entertained” the prospect of the YouTube star entering the octagon. Paul went on to confirm that this was true.

Logan Paul recently returned to WWE at the 2023 Royal Rumble where he entered the men’s match at number 29. The star eliminated Seth Rollins before being thrown out by eventual winner Cody Rhodes. Rollins has since called out Paul, claiming that not a lot of people like him, adding that he doesn’t care about being a wrestler.

The YouTube sensation made his WWE debut in tag team action at WrestleMania 38 before defeating The Miz at SummerSlam. Paul went on to challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in just his third match at Crown Jewel. During the bout, Paul suffered a knee injury that kept him out of action until the Royal Rumble.

Dana White Under Fire For Power Slap League

Dana White has been subject to huge criticism in recent weeks following the launch of the controversial Power Slap tournament and claims of domestic abuse. Just before the launch of his new venture, White was caught on camera slapping his wife. White apologised for the incident, and the launch of the Power Slap League was delayed for a week. However, the show has been slammed by critics with neuroscientist Chris Nownski describing it as “pure exploitation.”
