Dana Brooke Wins Her 24/7 Championship, First Title Win In WWE

Dana Brooke

Dana Brooke has captured her first taste of gold in WWE on Monday Night Raw, over five years since she debuted on the main roster.

Brooke debuted on the main roster in WWE in May 2016 helping Emma to attack current Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. In her first match, Dana Brooke defeated The Man, before beginning an alliance with Charlotte Flair.

During Brooke’s time as part of the WWE roster she has competed in title matches, Money In The Bank matches, Royal Rumbles, and on WrestleMania but she had never yet tasted championship success in the company. But that all changed on Monday Night Raw.

The 24/7 Champion Reggie put his title on the line against Cedric Alexander. The Hurt Business member defeated Reggie to claim his third reign as champion. Alexander’s success was over as quickly as it began as Dana Brooke nailed a neckbreaker from the top rope on him before claiming a pinfall to become the new 24/7 Champion.

With a swathe of WWE Superstars having come to chase down Cedric Alexander, they were frozen when Brooke won the title with none of them approaching her or trying to beat her for the gold.

Dana Brooke becomes the eighth woman to hold the 24/7 Title after previous success for Kelly Kelly, Carmella, Tamina, Candice Michelle, Madusa, Maria Kanellis, and Alicia Fox.
