Damian Priest Shows Off Aftermath Of Surviving RAW Clash With Sheamus

Damian Priest may have come out with his United States Championship on RAW but the win didn’t come without a price as he survived a battle with Sheamus.

After defeating Sheamus at the 2021 SummerSlam event for the WWE United States Title, Damian Priest has been on a successful run, defeating the Irishman a further eight times in either singles or triple threat action. At Extreme Rules, The Archer Of Infamy retained his championship in a three-way encounter involving Sheamus as well as former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre.

The very next night however on RAW, Priest had to defend the title once again against Sheamus in a No Count Out, No Disqualification match. In just over 15 minutes Priest was able to put away Sheamus once again to retain his belt.

On social media, however, images have shown that the win came at a cost with Priest’s vicious war wounds on show from the brutal contest.

NXT commentator and a man that knows Sheamus very well, Wade Barrett took to Twitter to praise Damian Priest for surviving his scraps with the former WWE Champion:

I knew the second I saw him in #WWENXT that @ArcherOfInfamywas the real deal, but he’s found a whole new level of late. IF they can survive, 2 months of scrapping with @Sheamusmakes anyone better. And sore. #WWERaw”

Priest and the WWE United States Championship could well be on the move as the RAW Superstar will be part of the upcoming WWE Draft. Recent reports have suggested that NXT 2.0 will be a part of the draft with stars from the developmental plan potentially being catapulted onto RAW and SmackDown.
