Damian Priest Says Bad Bunny Will “Surprise People” At WrestleMania 37

Damian Priest stands with Bad Buny

Ever since Damian Priest emerged onto WWE’s main roster at the Royal Rumble 2021 he has stood side by side with Grammy Award winning rapper Bad Bunny.

After performing his hit song “Booker T” at the same event, Bad Bunny then became embroiled in a feud with The Miz.

It had previously been announced that Bad Bunny would be facing The Miz in one on one competition at WrestleMania 37, but the feud between the two went to a whole new level on the latest episode of Monday Night RAW.

Bad Bunny and Damian Priest arrived at RAW in a $3.6 million white Bugatti. However, Bad Bunny’s new ride didn’t stay white for long. Miz and Morrison, found the car unattended backstage and proceeded to write all over the car in red paint.

This resulted in a tag team match being made for WrestleMania night one, which will see Bad Bunny team with Damian Priest to take on The Miz and John Morrison.

Speaking to Daisy Ruth of WFLA ahead of the clash, Priest said that Bad Bunny is set to “surprise some people” when he makes his in-ring debut.

“Every week, multiple days a week, we’re in the ring together,” said Priest. “I’ll tell you what, come WrestleMania, he’s going to surprise some people, he’s taking it seriously. The one thing he’s been adamant about is making sure he got everybody’s respect, he earned everybody’s respect.”

Bad Bunny was the #1 listened to artist across 2020 via Spotify, taking the world by storm, as well as winning multiple Latin Grammy Awards, American Music Awards and Billboard Music Awards for Best Reggaeton Performance, Artist of the Year and Top Latin Album of the Year among others. Bad Bunny’s most recent album El Último Tour Del Mundo – which features the single Booker T – debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, and was the first all-Spanish-language album to reach #1 in the 64-year history of the all-genre chart, as well as #1 on Apple Music’s global “Top Albums” chart for all genres.
