Damian Priest has been nothing short of impressive since arriving on WWE’s main roster.
The former NXT North American Champion debuted in NXT back in 2018, and quickly moved his way up the card. Priest announced himself to the wider WWE Universe at the 2021 Royal Rumble where entering at number 14 he eliminated established names such as John Morrison, Elias, Kane and new WWE Champion The Miz.
‘The Archer Of Infamy’ has certainly made an impact on RAW, where he defeated Angel Garza on the latest episode of the red brand. However, Priest has undergone one subtle tweak, in having his devastating ‘The Reckoning’ finishing move renamed ‘Hit The Lights.’
It is unclear whether the change was caused by the return of Mia Yim aka Reckoning to television, although the switch will help to avoid any unnecessary confusion.
As well as overcoming the challenge of Angel Garza, Priest also helped Bad Bunny retain his 24/7 Title on a couple of occasions. Initially by scaring off R-Truth and later by fighting off Akira Tozawa, Humberto Carrillo and Drew Gulak following his match with Garza.
Rapper Bad Bunny has also made an impact on WWE since performing at the Royal Rumble. The ‘Booker T’ star became embroiled in a feud with The Miz before pinning Akira Tozawa on an episode of RAW to capture the 24/7 Championship. Bad Bunny would later perform on Saturday Night Live proudly sporting his new piece of sliverware.
