Former NXT North American Champion, Damian Priest, has replied to the sentiments of Kane following the 2021 Royal Rumble Match.
On January 31, ‘The Archer of Infamy’ made his official WWE main roster debut when he entered at number fourteen and eliminated four men during his 15:34 stint. One of the men he sent packing was ‘The Big Red Machine’ Kane, who spoke about Priest following his elimination:
“He’s got a ton of potential. I mean it stinks because I would have liked to be in the match longer. But he’s [Priest] going to be an impact player in WWE. I think you’re going to see a lot more moments like that from him in the future.”
Now, the artist formerly known as Punishment Martinez has taken to social media to reply to the masked legend, stating that if he’s dreaming then he doesn’t want to be woken up:
“If I’m dreaming, do not disturb! @KaneWWE already had my respect. Now he has my gratitude as well. You know where I’ll be if you ever want to mix it up. #RoyalRumble #WWERaw [bow & arrow emoji] #LiveForever.”

On the February 1 edition of Monday Night Raw, Priest made his debut on Monday Night Raw alongside recording artist Bad Bunny in a segment with The Miz and John Morrison who the NXT star also eliminated the night before.
Defeating The Miz in singles action, Damian Priest is now believed to be the man chosen to stand with Bunny in his rivalry with Miz and Morrison as the company looks ahead to WrestleMania season.
