Sonya Deville has given her thoughts on her return to WWE television after a four and a half month absence.
During the January 1 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, the talent stepped back into a WWE ring for the first time since SummerSlam after falling in a Loser Leaves WWE Match to Mandy Rose.
Though without a storyline job, Deville was quickly reinstated to the roster to the relief of many and voiced her pleasure at being back in the fold on social media.
Taking to Twitter, Sonya simply stated:

Though Sonya Deville was written off of WWE television in August 2020 at the culmination of a war with her best friend, the truth was that the talent chose to take some time away from the industry to deal with the home intrusion and attempted kidnapping incident that befell her prior to her departure.
Asleep in bed, Deville was awoken by her home security system to find a man in her house who had apparently come equip with rope and other paraphernalia ready to abduct the star. Thankfully, both Deville and Mandy Rose – who was staying with her friend – were able to escape and allow police to apprehend the individual.
The superstar was not seeded in the 2020 WWE Draft, but will now be exclusive property of the company’s blue brand.
