WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley is set to pass on his years of experience to the next generation of WWE Superstars as he becomes a coach in NXT.
In a career spanning almost 25 years, D-Von Dudley competed in some of the most chaotic, destructive, and innovative matches of all time. Alongside his ‘brother’ Bubba Ray Dudley, the two men established themselves as one of the most hardcore and successful tag teams in history.
After becoming mainstays in ECW throughout the mid-1990s the duo moved to WWE in 1999. They later engaged in rivalries with both The Hardy Boyz and Edge & Christian, doing battle in a series of legendary matches often involving their beloved tables. The three teams famously competed in the first two TLC matches which are still revered to this day.
Now those years of in-ring expertise are going to be put to good use as D-Vin Dudley confirmed he is moving from his role as a producer in WWE to that of a coach in NXT. Dudley revealed the news on the final episode of his Table Talk podcast, saying that he will start at the Performance Center on June 15th.
D-Von Dudley recently shared the sad news with the world that he is unable to wrestle again after undergoing serious spinal surgery.
