CyberFight Festival has officially concluded, with the mammoth fifteen match show featuring some shock results in its major matches.
Three of Japan’s biggest wrestling promotions – DDT Pro Wrestling, Pro Wrestling NOAH and Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling – combined their rosters to create CyberFight Festival. The huge cross-promotion event featured the top talent from all of the CyberFight brands, with each promotion offering up a main event involving their top championship.
For TJPW, their main event was Princess of Princess Champion Miyu Yamashita defending against Yuka Sakazaki; DDT’s top match saw NOAH and AJPW legend Jun Akiyama defend the KO-D Openweight Championship against HARASHIMA; NOAH’s main event (and the main event of the show itself) featured a true clash of the titans as veritable wrestling icon Keiji Muto defended the GHC Heavyweight Championship against one of NOAH’s most successful roster members, Naomichi Marufuji.
