A top WWE star has returned to his roots.

Returning to his home country and former promotion at the PWA in Australia earlier today, a former WWE tag-team champion returned to his roots. Former Champion Grayson Waller traveled to Australia and faced Jimmy Townsend at the promotion’s Colosseum event.

Like Waller, Finn Balor, and JD McDonagh, the current Raw tag-team Champions, are also scheduled to appear at the OTT’s Tenth Anniversary Show on October 26. On October 12th, WWE’s Waller defeated Townsend in a 20-minute match to seal the victory.

Fans currently witness a major shift in WWE’s booking style, as main-rosters now travel around the globe wrestling in independent promotions and helping other talents grow. Soon after Waller’s victory, he asked fans to continue their support for Australian wrestling.

Grayson Waller Asks For Support And Names WWE Wrestlers To Takeover The Globe

After his victory at PWA Colosseum, Grayson Waller noted the new era in the Stamford-based promotion and asked the fans for their support as the plan to take over the globe.

I love Australian wrestling, I love it more than anything. And shoutout to the WWE for letting me come and perform for you all tonight. You truly know we’re in a new era when they let me come down to Sydney to perform for you, so shoutout to WWE.

I did this because I wanted to, I love wrestling in this country. No other country in the world can touch what we do, and I keep saying it. I can’t stand UK wrestling, I can’t stand Japanese wrestling, I definitely can’t stand American wrestling.

We have the best fans, we have the best wrestlers, we run it, and PWA is at the very top. Keep supporting PWA. Keep supporting Australian wrestling. Because we’re taking over the whole globe, baby. Indi Hartwell, Rhea Ripley, Bronson Reed, Duke Hudson, Delta.”

Rhea Ripley is currently in an engaging feud with The Judgment Day, while Bronson Reed looks to settle his score against Seth Rollins. While Duke Hudson is on the rise in NXT, and Delta is awaiting her NXT debut date.

Indi Hartwell was last seen wrestling actively during WWE’s European tour, while Grayson Waller and Austin Theory faced FrAxiom for the NXT Tag Team Championship.
