A current champion has detailed her plans for WWE WrestleMania 41.
A part of WWE since 2023, current women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green has remained one of the most popular faces in the company. Starting from scratch, Green has established herself as an integral part of the women’s division.
Defeating Michin at the 2024 Saturday Night’s Main Event, Green became the first-ever women’s US champion and hopes to carry that title and enter WrestleMania 41. Over the years, women’s wrestling has undergone a major transition, with several vital storylines and the introduction of multiple new titles.
Recently speaking to Pro Wrestling Experience in a recent interview, Green opened up on the landscape of women’s sports and how she hopes to bring justice to the women at Mania 41.
“Gosh, as a female in sports right now, we’re at a really, really interesting, time we are seeing the WNBA take off. We are seeing the soccer team just thrive. All the the national teams thriving. We are watching women main event WrestleMania. We see a new Intercontinental and United States title being revealed. Like, it’s just an unbelievable time for women. So I hope that I can do everybody justice, do all the females in this world justice by taking this title to Las Vegas, showing up on the 19th and 20th of April and just proving the world right. This is what we deserved, and this is why. I’m really excited for that.”

Green’s last televised match was against Sol Ruca on the 18th March episode of NXT.
Chelsea Green Has Displayed Her Gratitude To This Former WWE Talent
During her same appearance on the Pro Wrestling Experience, Chelsea Green opened up on former ring announcer Samantha Irvin’s unique introduction for her. She further heaped praise on her talent and displayed her gratitude for Irvin.
“All the time and I love it. It never gets old. I thank Samantha for everything that she did for my entrance because it is amazing. And seriously, whether you’re really good at doing it or really terrible, it gives me a feeling and I love it. That’s the whole point of wrestling, right? The point is to feel something. Feel anything. Whether it’s good or bad, just feel something. And that’s what we get.”
