A current WWE champion believes John Cena should stay away from him.
As the reigning Intercontinental Champion, Bron Breakker has been on an extremely dominant run. Zooming past his opponents daily inside the ring, Breakker even put forward an impressive performance at the 2025 Royal Rumble.
With no fixed feud currently on his plate, Breakker has now issued a fair warning to Cena. While John Cena has yet to win the IC title in his celebrated career, the former NXT Champion believes the veteran should stay away from him.
Speaking with MuscleManMalcolm during the Royal Rumble 2025 weekend, Breakker addressed Cena’s ongoing retirement tour. Once challenged The Leader of Cenation to face him, the current champion now believes it might not be wise for Cena to challenge him.
“I just don’t think it’s very wise for John Cena. A lot of things have changed since SummerSlam. I know this is John’s farewell tour, and it’s his last year, and everyone’s celebrating the last year of John Cena, but if he wants to make it to the end of that year or make it to the end of this run, he probably just stay away from me. I wouldn’t want to face me. If I was him and was 47 years old, I would not want to face me.”

Cena is now scheduled to be in the Elimination Chamber match with five other participants at the namesake PLE on 1st March 2025 in Toronto.
Hulk Hogan Believes John Cena Could Have Been The Greatest Heel In The Industry
Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, Hulk Hogan claimed that John Cena could have been the greatest heel wrestler if ever switched sides from his babyface character. Drawing inspiration from his own villainous run, Hogan shared,
“In my opinion, I think John would’ve been one of the greatest heels ever because he was such a great babyface. You repent. After you’ve cut everybody’s throats, stolen all the money, and cheated, then when you repent and beg for forgiveness, the wrestling fans will make you an even bigger babyface.”
