Cryptic QR Code Tease On Raw Fuels White Rabbit Speculation [Video]

White Rabbit Raw Tease

A QR code seen in the background on Raw led to more speculation about who will be revealed as the mysterious White Rabbit, and when the revelation will take place!

On the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, Austin Theory took on Kevin Owens in a rematch of their bout on Labor Day. While Kevin Owens was once again victorious following a distraction from Johnny Gargano, fans online have been talking more about what was seen in the background behind Theory while he prepared for the match.

When Austin Theory was shown backstage ahead of the bout, a QR code could be seen on the wall behind him, labelled with the words “COME WITH ME.” Fans awaiting a potential Bray Wyatt return could use this to fuel speculation that the Eater of Worlds might indeed be on his way back to the company, a possibility that was also teased during the most recent episode of SmackDown.

However, some believe that WWE playing the song White Rabbit during the commercial break on SmackDown is a reference to Karrion Kross, who was known as the White Rabbit during his time in Lucha Underground and also fits the dark aesthetic of the song. Kross has been posting on social media in response to fans who’ve made the connection, and was accused of “killing” rumors of Wyatt’s return.

The QR code led to a cryptic video that continued the White Rabbit theme, showing a rabbit with the words “Feed your head,” which is a line from the Jefferson Airplane song. When the video is played, the rabbit can be seen playing a game of Hangman that asks for the answer to the question “WHO KILLED THE WORLD?” The answer was revealed to be “YOU DID,” and the mysterious nature of the phrase could be attributed to either Kross or Wyatt. However, the hourglass in the bottom corner points to Kross.

At the end of the video, the rabbit went back and forth around the numbers “9.23,” which indicates that something will be revealed this coming Friday on SmackDown, airing September 23rd. It then ended with the phrase “COME WITH ME.”

Elsewhere on Monday Night Raw, Bobby Lashley defeated Seth Rollins to retain his United States Championship and Dominik Mysterio cut a promo about joining his “new family” in The Judgment Day. Full results from the episode can be found here.
