Cross-Promotion Title Change At Latest Set Of IMPACT Tapings [SPOILER]

With the forbidden door well and truly bolted open, a massive cross-promotion championship change occurred at the latest set of IMPACT Wrestling tapings.

The wrestling world was stunned when Ring Of Honor announced that the company was going on a hiatus with their Final Battle show in December 2021 purportedly the company’s final show until possibly April 2022.

Many ROH stars have since begun working for other promotions with Jay Lethal joining AEW shortly after ROH made their announcement.

IMPACT Wrestling, however, looks like the place to be for many ROH stars with The OGK, Vincent, and PCO invading the company’s recent Hard To Kill event. At Hard To Kill ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham also successfully defended his title against Chris Sabin.

At the latest set of IMPACT Wrestling TV tapings following Hard To Kill, Ring Of Honor gold was once again on the line and if you don’t want to know the score, look away now.

Former IMPACT Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo put her AAA Reina de Reinas Championship on the line against Ring Of Honor Women’s Champion Rok-C, who did the same with her belt.

In the end, The Virtuosa Deonna Purrazzo came out on top, claiming the ROH Women’s Championship and becoming only the second woman to hold the title.

Elsewhere on the tapings, Gresham again successfully defended his ROH crown, this time against Steve Maclin. Jordynne Grace retained her IMPACT Digital Media Championship against Lady Frost while IMPACT World Champion Moose saw off the challenge of Zicky Dice.

Former WWE Tag Team Champion Charlie Haas made his stunning IMPACT debut at the taping as well, going one on one with Josh Alexander. Reports from the event have stated that Haas had to be stretchered out of the arena following the bout.
