Diamond Mine’s Creed Brothers have won the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic!
The finals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team classic saw the Creed Brothers take on former NXT Tag Team Champions MSK at Vengeance Day. Looking to become two time winners of the tournament, MSK advanced to the finals last week after defeating the underdog team of Edris Enofe and Malik Blade. Meanwhile, the Creed Brothers advanced over former NXT UK Tag Team Champions the Grizzled Young Veterans.
While Diamond Mine members Roderick Strong and Ivy Nile looked on, the Creed Brothers made their way to the ring led by Diamond Mine manager Malcolm Bivens, who humorously held up a John Cena-inspired towel that said “NEVER GIVE UP.” However, when he flipped the towel around, it said “NO, YOU SHOULD!” MSK did not seem amused by the slight.

In a match that saw feats of high flying prowess mixed with technical capability, both teams shone at times, but in the end, the former NXT Tag Team Champions failed to become two time winners of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic when the Creed Brothers were able to secure the pinfall victory. Malcolm Bivens celebrated with the team after their victory.
