The creator of Rhea Ripley’s Survivor Series mask has spoken out about the challenging process of bringing their creative vision to life.
Making her return to the ring at Survivor Series in the Women’s WarGames match, Ripley wore a protective mask for most of the bout as the former Women’s Champion suffered a broken orbital bone earlier in the month. Adding some creativity to the mask, Ripley debuted her demonic look that looked like something out of a horror movie.
Given the appearance and detail of the mask, it should come as no surprise to fans that it was created by Jason Baker, the creative mind responsible for Bray Wyatt’s mask along with the members of The Wyatt Sicks.
Taking to social media, Baker detailed the creative process of getting the mask ready on time and the unique challenge of making the protective mask functional:
“Even in Hell, Mami is always on top!” Protective mask for @RheaRipley_WWE #survivorserieswargames. Sculpted and painted by me. Such a unique challenge incorporating Rhea’s actual protective face mask into something elaborate and still functional. A huge thank you to my awesome crew who worked a 14hr shift with me on Thanksgiving Day to make sure we made our quick turnaround deadline.

At Survivor Series, Ripley picked up the victory for her team after pinning Liv Morgan inside the cage.
Rhea Ripley Called Out
As Ripley pinned Morgan at Survivor Series, another match between The Eradicator and the Women’s World Champion looks to be inevitable. However, in NXT, one rising star has already called for a match against Rhea Ripley.
