Crazy John Cena Statistic Revealed

John Cena promo with Austin Theory.

John Cena is one of the most decorated WWE Superstars of all-time. He’s won just about every major honour there is, often more than once, and has enjoyed a record-equalling 16 World Championship reigns.

However, he heads into WrestleMania 39 wanting to get rid of an unwanted record. Despite all of his success, Cena hasn’t won a televised singles match in WWE for five years.

On that occasion he defeated Triple H at the Greatest Royal Rumble in April 2018. Cena also hasn’t tasted victory at WrestleMania since teaming with Nikki Bella to overcome The Miz and Maryse back at WrestleMania 33 in 2017.

John Cena To Face Austin Theory At WrestleMania 39

John Cena returned to WWE on the March 6th episode of Monday Night Raw where he was confronted by Austin Theory. The United States Champion said that he had a gift for Cena, and that gift was a match at WrestleMania. However, the veteran intially turned him down.

Cena went on to verbally skewer Theory questioning his heart and claiming that no one cares about him, so much so that WWE pipes in crowd noise during his matches.

After much urging from the crowd Cena agreed to face the young star at WrestleMania.
