Corey Graves Latest WWE Name To Take A Dig At Tony Khan On Raw

Tony Khan AEW

Tony Khan remained a man under fire during Monday Night Raw as his spat with Ariel Helwani rumbles on.

On February 17th, Ariel Helwani appeared on WWE SmackDown, and AEW boss Tony Khan was none too pleased about it. Khan took to social media to brand the journalist a “fraud” before Helwani hit back at the man he dubbed “the snowman.”

At Elimination Chamber WWE decided to get in on the action with Peter Rosenberg introducing Helwani on the pre-show as being “respected by anyone with intelligence.” Michael Cole then followed that on the main show introducing Helwani and MMA legend George St-Pierre, by noting that Helwani is “unbiased” adding that he “asks the tough questions whether you want to answer them or not.”

Not to be outdone, Monday Night Raw announcer threw a subtle jab of his won during the February 20th edition of the red brand. Graves described The Miz as an “unbiased journalist” adding that WWE is “rife with those,” a reference to Khan sarcastically wishing Helwani luck with his “unbiased journalism.”

Ariel Helwani Fires Back At Tony Khan

Speaking on the most recent edition of the MMA Hour, Helwani said that Khan’s initial post about him was “bizarre,” adding that he was determined not to let the AEW President ruin his night.

Khan’s comments appeared to be in response to remarks made by Helwani after he was interviewed on the MMA Hour back in 2022. During the interview, Helwani repeatedly asked questions in relation to CM Punk, which Khan batted away.

The journalist and media personality later criticised Khan for not answering any questions.
