Current Favourites For The 2024 Royal Rumble Revealed

WWE Royal Rumble 2024

It is almost time for the BEST WWE PPV of the year…at least in my opinion, the Royal Rumble.

But who looks set to leave the show with a one way ticket to WrestleMania, let’s take a look and find out.

Based on the current average odds provided by all UK bookmakers; CM Punk is the overwhelming favourite for the men’s Royal Rumble sitting at a massive 4/6 odds.

Cody Rhodes (5/2) is the runner up with The Rock (8/1) and GUNTHER (14/1) making up the rest of the top four.

Over on the women’s side of things and Bayley sits as the odds on favourite for the event with ‘The Man’ Becky Lynch sitting second with 9/2 odds.

Jade Cargill (6/1) and Liv Morgan (12/1) make up the rest of the top four.

"It's His Company" - AEW Star Responds To Tony Khan's Divisive Twitter Antics

AEW Star Daniel Garcia Allegedly Choked Out Independent Wrestler

Tony Khan made headlines last week after going on a passionate rant on social media regarding the double standards of WWE fans.

The comments led to many in AEW feeling embarrassed by Tony Khan’s actions but Daniel Garcia was not one of them.

In a new interview with Adrian Hernandez the rising AEW star would respond to Khan’s antics claiming that he isn’t bothered because AEW is his company and he can do what he wants.

Garcia would comment:

“A lot of people don’t like what Tony says on Twitter, but it’s his company first and foremost, he can do whatever he wants.”

“He’s the one putting the money behind this company, he’s paying all of our salaries, that’s on him.”

“It’s great to know that you have somebody willing to put themselves out there and fight for his team.”

Garcia would then go one step further revealing that he “loves” the way Khan presents himself and AEW online.

“That’s what I love most about it. He says whatever he wants because he really believes in use and he knows we can back it up.” [h/t Fightful]

Two Absent AEW Stars Backstage At Recent Dynamite Broadcast

PAC posing in the ring at ROH Death Before Dishonor 2023

Tony Khan has strengthened the AEW roster in recent weeks and with the potential arrival of legendary NJPW start Kazuchika Okada looks to be continuing to do so heading into February.

But it hasn’t just been new signings enhancing the roster, in recent weeks we saw the return of Serena Deeb and now two more absent AEW stars look set to return.

According to a report from Fighful Select, both PAC and Parker Boudreaux were backstage at the January 17th episode of AEW Dynamite.

The report notes that there are no imminent creative plans for Boudreaux as he is not longer internally affiliated with Mogul Embassy.

PAC has been out of action for around six months, last appearing on AEW Dynamite #199 defeating Gravity in a well received match.

Big E Provides Update on Potential WWE Return

Big E Discusses The Possibility Of WWE In-Ring Return

Big E has not competed inside a WWE ring almost 700 days following a career-threatening injury sustained after a botched belly to belly suplex from Brawling Brute Ridge Holland.

One of WWE’s most popular stars of the past decade, fans are clamouring to see Big E back in the ring…but will it ever happen?

Here is the latest from the man himself.

Speaking with TMZ, Big E would discuss a potential return to action:

“I just want to make a smart decision. I didn’t start wrestling to end up in a wheelchair. So I want to make sure I’m making the best decision for myself. I don’t have a timeline unfortunately, so thank you for asking.”

Controversial WWE Star Not In Creative Plans For The 2024 Royal Rumble

Kurt Angle Tips Gable Steveson For The Top

Gable Steveson is having a tough time connecting with the WWE audience.

The combination of sexual misconduct allegations and perceived lack of ability has left Gable Steveson with an uphill battle in the WWE.

The former Olympic athlete has been a consistent competitor on SmackDown’s dark matches in recent weeks and is set to remain as such as WWE looks for him to adjust to performing in front of a live crowd.

This has led some fans to worry that the controversial star was set for a slot in the 2024 Royal Rumble.

However, a new report from PWInsider has confirmed this is not the case.

Mike Johnson reports that those within the WWE have confirmed that Steveson is “not in the creative mix for the Rumble” and has been working dark matches to get him “more reps in front of live crowds.”

Do you think Gable Steveson will amount to anything in the WWE? Let us know by hitting the thumbs below!
