Ever since social media became a huge part of global culture, Superstars from across the world of wrestling have often been seen to post controversial views or share opinions that are not widely agreed with by the masses.

Be it Daniel Bryan’s personal views of then-US President Donald Trump, Carmella accusing Mandy Rose of being unsafe in the ring or Randy Orton’s controversial and then later deleted comments towards a female fan, WWE Superstars have occasionally found themselves in hot water with their social media activity. Some, like Orton, realise the error of their ways and apologise whilst other’s stand by their views.

One such current WWE Superstar who remains outspoken on social media is former SmackDown Women’s Champion ‘Rowdy’ Ronda Rousey. And according to recent reports, a recent social media post could dramatically impact the outcome of a huge encounter on night 2 of this year’s WrestleMania.

Huge WrestleMania 39 match outcome could be influenced by recent social media posts

2022 Women’s Royal Rumble winner Ronda Rousey was recently critical of WWE creative plans for her feud with Liv Morgan, comments that could potentially have forced a rethink of the outcome of Rousey’s WrestleMania match, according to Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer:

“Obviously, Ronda Rousey would have won the match if she didn’t make that post, and she still might win, but we’ll have to see what happens. That was a unique post, but they’re still the favorites to win”.

Rousey is set to join forces with Shayner Baszler on night 2 of WrestleMania 39 in the Women’s Showcase match, taking on the teams of Racquel Rodrigues and Liv Morgan, Natalya and Shotzi as well as Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville.

It remains to be seen if the match will be the last WWE outing for Rousey, after recent reports suggested that her heart may not be fully invested in the product currently.
