Controversial Former WWE Star Odyssey Jones Announced For Huge International Tournament

Former WWE star Odyssey Jones is all geared up for his next career move.

Last year, in August 2024, Jones was heavily involved in a storyline alongside Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods of The New Day. However, only after a few appearances, the plans were scrapped, and Jones was removed from all televised appearances.

Soon, in September 2024, Fightful Select reported that his partner had made allegations of domestic violence against Jones, who was then removed from the roster, with his contract being terminated. Jones, also known as Omari Palmer, later denied the allegations and filed a defamation lawsuit against his former partner. He was later granted an order of protection.

Now known as Oddyssey, the 31-year-old has been active in the indies and was recently announced for a major international tournament. Earlier today, AJPW revealed the brackets for their 2025 Royal Road Tournament, which Jones is now a part of. The winner of the tournament will go on to challenge for the Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship.

The tournament is scheduled to begin on August 24 and will conclude on September 15.
