Daivari has been revealed as the latest member of CONTRA Unit in Major League Wrestling. He appeared to join the group after the Kings of Colosseum event held on January 6th. Together with MLW World Heavyweight Champion Jacob Fatu and Simon Gotch, Daivari attacked Jordan Oliver and Myron Reed after a backstage interview.
Possibly best known for his run in WWE, Daivari debuted there in 2004. He was introduced to us as ‘Khosrow Daivari,’ the manager of the highly controversial character Mohammed Hassan. Following Hassan’s release, Daivari would go on to manage WWE Hall of Famers Kurt Angle and Mark Henry. In addition, he introduced the WWE Universe to the debuting Great Khali.

Daivari debuted for TNA in 2008 as ‘Sheik Abdul Bashir.’ He would go on to hold the X-Division Championship by beating Petey Williams and Consequences Creed at the No Surrender event.
At Impact Wrestling’s Genesis event, Daivari took part in the Super X Cup tournament. Daivari was defeated by Cousin Jake in the opening round. Ace Austin would go on to win the tournament later in the evening.
At MLW’s Kings of Colosseum, Reed lost his MLW World Middleweight Championship against the debuting Lio Rush. In the main event, fellow CONTRA Unit member Mads Krügger went to a double count-out draw with MLW National Openweight Champion Alexander Hammerstone.
